Welcome to our class - Year 5!

I am really looking forward to this next year as we all try to be the best that we can be!

News about our learning for the term will be posted here, so that you can share in the learning. There is also a noticeboard in the classroom so that all the children can stay up to date.

Homework this year will continue to focus on Times Tables and Reading. All pupils will receive two bookmarks - one for home and one to stay in school, on the reverse of this will be the log in details for Read Theory and TT Rockstars. If there are any issues with logging on etc please just let me know. These should be the same as last year! Any changes and I will let you know

PE Days are Monday and Wednesday

Reminder that on PE days children come in to school in their PE uniform, there should be jewellery only as per school guidelines but this must be removed for PE lessons for safety reasons.

Autumn Term

There are lots of exciting things planned for this term. We will be learning about the geography of South America and then the Mayan Civilisation.

We will be learning about artists, sewing, animals including humans, circulatory system, so much to cram in before Christmas!
