May I extend a warm welcome back to school and in particular to Year 2! I hope that you have all had an enjoyable summer break and feel refreshed for the start of another exciting year.

Reminders:

Our PE lessons each week are Tuesday and Thursday. Children will need to come to school dressed in their correct P.E kits.

Group reading takes place 3 times a week and your child must bring their reading book in to school daily. I cannot emphasise enough the importance of continuing to hear your child read at home on a daily basis and in particular, to begin to support the development of comprehension skills, through discussion and questioning.

In our classroom, we value respect, curiosity, and collaboration. Together, we’ll explore new ideas, build on our strengths, and support one another as we grow both academically and personally.
